Photo session of the cutest newborn! Ah!

This was one of my cutest photo session of newborn. There is some history behind this photo session. My client Rishma booked a newborn session with me while she was pregnant. I was looking forward to this shoot and was getting more excited as we were getting closer to the shoot day. 

I’ve talked to my client to ask her if she had any colors or themes in particular that she liked and wanted me to use it for the newborn shoot.  Unfortunately, Covid-19 surprised us before baby Riaan Desai arrived. Due to all the regulations, I had to temporarily close my studio. 

Once baby Riaan Desai was born, Rishma contacted me to let me know that she still wanted a newborn shoot with me, but I had to let my client know that I had to shut my business until further notice from the government. 

Photo Sessions and covid-19

During those times when my business had to be temporarily closed, I was feeling very sad and helpless. I enjoy my job so much, from setting up all the beautiful set ups to handling babies, and I couldn’t do that anymore. As well as that, I know how important it is for parents to have these newborn photos and I didn’t want them to miss their baby’s first newborn shoot. Having said that, my clients safety is a number one priority so I had to wait.  

I offered either a refund or to reschedule until further notice. Since all my clients are so loyal, she decided to reschedule until further notice from the government. Once it was okay for non essential business to open up, my studio Narmin Nasir Photography, also, opened up. 

Baby Riaan Desai was almost 2 months during his newborn shoot, he was so sweet and handsome and was posing for the camera non stop. My client Rishma had come to my studio with her husband. Her husband had to work during the newborn shoot, so I provided a quiet spot in my studio for him to work, while I was taking precious pictures of his son. 

The day of the newborn photo session

The newborn photoshoot went really well with baby Riaan Desai even though he wasn’t so newborn at the time of his shoot. Our pictures came out amazing and he was just such a happy boy. I enjoyed being his first newborn photographer and can’t wait to capture different milestones of his life.
