Chicago Baby Photographer – Newborn Twins
I have been working as a baby photographer in Chicago for over a year now and I have never been more excited before this photo shoot. I had the privilege to do the photo session of newborn twins. This was such an unbelievable experience, because You rarely get the chance to work with twins.
Photographing the twins has pretty much the same steps and care as it would be for one baby, but except it is double work. It also means that you have to be even more careful and take extra measures regarding safety. The safety of newborns and babies is the number one priority for me. During these sessions, I always have an assistant with me in order to soothe and calm the baby when needed.
Their beautiful mom showed me some pictures by Anne Geddes and wanted to recreate something similar, which we did. We also created something more and beautiful – we had different poses and set ups and used different props and accessories.
Overall, I loved this session very much. It was indeed a challenge, but with challenges come greater reward. I felt so morally satisfied in the end, because I was able to gift my client some beautiful moments and photos that she will cherish for the rest of her life. As you may see from the babies photos below, these twins are so beautiful and they were so calm and relaxed. They made the photo session very easy for me and my assistant.
My client also liked my home studio, which made her feel, I think, very comfortable and at ease. We talked a little bit about her twins and how blessed she is to have them in her life. As a mother of two, I only can imagine how happy the mother is and how anxiously she is awaiting when they start running around and bright their home with love and warmth. I think that twins also have something, some bond which keeps them together and they are lucky to have each other in their life.
As always, you may find my other posts here for you to read. Thank you for taking your time and I wish you all the best.
Stay safe and healthy, everyone!
With Love, Narmin.
